These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) define the terms and conditions under which the carrier provides road transport services for vehicles on behalf of its clients.
These GTC apply to all vehicle transport services unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties. Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC by the client.
Each order must specify:
The order becomes firm once accepted by the carrier.
A vehicle condition report is prepared at both pick-up and delivery. Only damages recorded in writing and acknowledged by both parties will be considered.
Any non-drivable, damaged, or mechanically defective vehicle must be reported prior to pick-up. Otherwise, the carrier reserves the right to refuse transport or apply a surcharge.
The carrier is not responsible for any personal items left inside the vehicle. Vehicles should be delivered empty.
A free waiting time of one (1) hour is granted. Beyond this period, a fee of €50 per started hour will be charged and billed upon delivery.
The client must ensure access for a 7.5-ton vehicle with a length of 17 meters. If access is not possible, the carrier may refuse pick-up or charge additional fees.
Delivery times are indicative only and do not give rise to compensation unless agreed in writing.
Prices are excluding taxes. Payment is due upon delivery. The carrier may refuse vehicle release until full payment is received.
The carrier’s liability is limited in accordance with the French Transport Code and the CMR Convention.
The vehicle is insured within legal limits. Additional insurance must be requested prior to pick-up.
Claims must be made in writing within five (5) calendar days following delivery.
These GTC are governed by French law. For disputes between professionals, the courts of Boulogne-sur-Mer shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
